In addition, the Philips 7900 models come with 2-sided Ambilight – a lighting technology that is unique to Philips TVs.
Fluent and comprehensive Smart TV experience
The integrated Android™ operating system combined with great processing power provides a very fast and fluent Smart TV experience on Philips 7900 TVs. Certified by Google, there’s also easy access to apps, content and services in the Google Play Store. This complements the existing Philips Smart TV offering and provides an unprecedented Smart TV experience.
Lifelike pictures with 4k Ultra HD resolution
The Ultra Resolution picture processing algorithms of the Pixel Precise Ultra HD engine upgrades content of any resolution into UHD resolution to let users experience exceptional sharpness, motion, clarity, colour and contrast. 600Hz PMR Ultra, together with Perfect Natural Motion video enhancement, delivers fluently moving images and makes playing games and watching action movies or fast paced sports events a pleasure. In addition, Micro Dimming Pro displays pictures with deep blacks and bright colours.
Recording and watching different programmes simultaneously
The Philips 7900 TVs have a twin tuner on board. It allows users to record a different programme from the one they are watching.
Sleek design without bezel around the screen
The slim Philips 7900 TVs are beautifully crafted from high-quality materials. The frameless screen sits in a very narrow aluminium rim to allow for a great viewing experience, which is further enhanced by 2-sided Ambilight light effects on the wall behind the TV.
