Exceptional audio quality, premium design and a range of form factors combine to make Philips Soundbars the easy home cinema solution

  • New range of three Philips soundbars – B6100, B8200 and B8500 – all offer superb performance, high power and top specifications.
  • All three soundbars feature different form factors to suit different installations
  • The 8500 is designed to perfectly fit with the central stands of the Philips MLED950 and OLED810 TVs.
  • The 8200 has a perfect fit for Philips TV’s with central stands and its tiny height of just 37mm allows the soundbar to be also used with TVs with low stands, without risk of blocking the screen.
  • The 6100’s narrow width of 600mm makes it the perfect fit for smaller TVs of around 48”- 55”.
  • All models include Dolby Atmos, DTS:X + Virtual X compatibility and HDMI 2.1 eARC connectivity.
  • Latest BT 5.4 wireless connectivity (B8200 features BT5.3) with LE audio compatibility.
  • Sustainability plays a key role in the new soundbar range with all three products featuring PCR recycled plastics, plastic free packaging and single colour UV printing.

TP Vision is unveiling a new range of three Philips soundbars, all with premium performance plus easy control and installation via the Philips Entertainment app.

B8500 – Full size, full surround performance

Launched in September, the B8500 is a full width soundbar – measuring 900x65x105mm (wxhxd) – specially designed to fit with the flat plate, central stands of TVs, including the Philips OLED810 and MLED950, that also share the same Satin Chrome Sheen finish.

The attractive, elliptical profile helps to reduce the height of the B8500 to remove any potential screen blocking but without compromising on performance.

The B8500 offers room filling sound thanks to a 5.1 specification with 300W RMS power output into
dedicated LCR channels, all featuring 2.25” drivers while the two side firing channels each have a single 2” driver.

The system has a total power of 300W RMS with each of the five drivers in the main bar receiving 30W each. The subwoofer – can be mounted vertically or horizontally – features a single 8” driver and 150Ws of power.

The 8500 is Dolby Atmos and DTS X + Virtual X compatible and includes HDMI 2.1 e-Arc connectivity with 4K 120Hz pass through. BT5.4 wireless connectivity includes LE Audio compatibility.

Integrated LED lights indicate the product status, the B8500 can also be controlled via the supplied remote control or the Philips Entertainment App.

Both the B8500 bar and subwoofer are finished in Satin Chrome Sheen.

B8200 – Super discrete form factor, full size performance

Launched in August, the B8200 has one of the most discrete form factors being 811mm wide but with a world beating height of just 37mm and a depth of only 42mm.

The B8200 has been designed to ideally work with central TV stands but its minimal height means the soundbar can be successfully used even with sets that have low stands.

A high-quality audio performance is delivered thanks to a separate tweeter and full range, racetrack driver in each channel of the 2.1 system. System power is 160W RMS with each of the drivers in the main bar receiving 15W for 60W in total. The twin driver subwoofer has 120W power and can be used either mounted horizontally or vertically.

Dolby Atmos and DTS:Virtual X compatibility are included, the B8200 also includes an HDMI 2.1 e-Arc connection. BT5.3 wireless connectivity includes LE Audio compatibility.

Integrated LED lights indicate the product status, the B8200 can also be controlled via supplied remote control or the Philips Entertainment App.

Both the B8200 bar and subwoofer are finished in Satin Chrome Sheen.

B6100 – Compact width, wide soundstage

The B6100 shares the same attractive elliptical design of the 8500 to give a lower height of just 65mm – and 105mm deep – but is offered in a narrower width of 600mm to be ideal for partnering with 48 – 55” screen sizes.

Launched in May, the B6100 is a 2.1 system with 200W RMS of power, with 40W for each of the two (2.25”) drivers mounted in the soundbar and 120W for the subwoofer.

Dolby Atmos and DTS X + Virtual X compatibility are included, the B6100 also includes an HDMI 2.1 e-Arc connection. BT5.4 wireless connectivity includes LE Audio compatibility.

Integrated LED lights indicate the product status, the B6100 can also be controlled via supplied remote control or the Philips Entertainment App

Both the bar and subwoofer are finished in Gun metal to perfectly match Philips mid-range TVs.
