TPV has been able to drive its growth over the years by leveraging its economies of scale and core competencies in R&D, manufacturing, logistic efficiency and quality.

This role is based in SSC (Shared Service Centrum) in Prague. The R2R accountant reports directly into the Europe Accounting Manager, with dual reporting into the statutory accounts team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing multiple end-to-end accounting processes, including preparation and coordination of journal entries in posting each period’s transactions.
• Assisting in the statutory accounts preparations of various entities covering multiple countries in an accurate, complete and timely manner.
• Improving the local Internal Control Framework as the foundation for high-quality reporting and compliance
• Building strong relationships with other stakeholders in finance and other disciplines such as business controlling, FP&A, HR, Sales and Marketing.
• Preparing and processing monthly account reconciliations and movement tables.
• Performing analytical reviews of the P&L and Balance Sheet accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy. This includes an understanding of the underlying drivers of the accounts and highlighting risks.
• Supporting internal and external audit work.
• Ensuring compliance with local and corporate policies and guidelines.
• Assisting the Europe accounting manager with ad hoc projects.

• Regularly providing information, assistance, and recommendations, which are used to continuously improve the processes and insights.

The Europe R2R and statutory accountant is a pivotal role in the journey towards building a world-class accounting department, taking ownership of an end-to-end accounting process and ensuring that the accounts are accurate and complete. The R2R accountant is a strong communicator and works closely with finance and business control teams in both Prague and Poland. This role ensures that the correct insight is applied in driving accurate books and records. Success for this role is dependent on the ability to working effectively and collaboratively across the company with multiple functions, and to put the needs of the company and internal customers first.

Must-have requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in similar roles
• A bachelor or master level degree in Finance & Accounting, OR 5+ years of solid accounting experience, ideally gained in different areas - AR, AP, and GL.
• Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
• Working knowledge of Excel to an advanced level

Those will give you an additional advantage:

• 5+ years accounting experience, inclusive of solid general ledger and reporting work.
• Working knowledge of SAP Finance.
• International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) knowledge and experience strongly preferred
