  • The Max app is available now on Titan OS-powered Philips Smart TVs across key European markets.
  • The new partnership brings additional premium content to Philips TVs using the Titan OS Smart TV platform and features Iconic brands and franchises including HBO, Harry Potter, the DC Universe, Cartoon Network and Max Originals plus a growing selection of blockbuster movies, all-time TV favourites and non-scripted programming.

TP Vision, the company responsible for the design, manufacturing, marketing, and sales of Philips-branded Smart TVs, announces that Philips Smart TVs powered by Titan OS now include the Max app.

Titan OS S.L., the Barcelona-based technology, entertainment, and advertising company, recently announced a strategic partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery to bring the Max app to Titan OS. This integration allows millions of European viewers to access Max’s world-class content directly from their Philips Smart TVs.

As part of this collaboration, the Max app is accessible now – across key European markets – on Philips 2024 Smart TVs powered by the Titan OS – an update for Philips 2023 Smart TVs will follow shortly.

The partnership strengthens Philips TV’s and Titan OS’s promise of a premium and localised content offering, by providing viewers access to Max’s world-class library. Subscribers can enjoy iconic brands and franchises such as HBO, Harry Potter, the DC Universe, Cartoon Network, and Max Originals. The Smart platform update also adds a variety of blockbuster films from Warner Bros. Pictures and non-scripted programming from Discovery, TLC, AFN, Food Network, Investigation Discovery, and HGTV.

Among the most anticipated titles in Max’s lineup are the HBO Original Dune: Prophecy and Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking. Premium series on its portfolio include critically acclaimed hits such as Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, The White Lotus, Succession, Euphoria, True Detective, and And Just Like That. Additionally, Max boasts iconic Warner Bros. Television classics like Friends, family favourites like Adventure Time, and a wide variety of top-tier entertainment.

In line with TP Vision’s and Titan OS’ vision to simplify content discovery and to deliver a more personalised viewing experience, Max offers an easy-to-use, consumer-centric streaming experience.

The Max app will be accessible to Philips Smart TV viewers via the set’s homepage and a single button push on the TV’s remote control. Users can launch the app directly or can explore featured content via homepage banners – to ensure a quick and intuitive access to the extensive catalogue.

Subscribers can personalise their profiles, receive tailored recommendations, and enjoy content in their preferred language. Max also allows the creation of profiles for kids, with age-appropriate content and parental controls. Its intuitive search functionality makes it easy to find content, while features such as Continue Watching, Download for on-the-go viewing and the option for subscribers to save content they love.

Commenting on behalf of TP Vision, Regional General Manager of TV Europe, Johnson Su said: “The launch of Max is one of the most significant content rollouts to date and clearly proves that both TP Vision and Titan OS remain committed to providing Philips TV viewers with easy and intuitive access to the very best premium and local content. We can also guarantee that MAX content delivered by a Philips Smart TV will always be viewed with exceptionally high picture and sound quality”.

Jacinto Roca, CEO at Titan OS, stated: “We’re thrilled to bring Max’s world-class library to millions of Philips TV viewers across Europe, offering our iconic franchises and premium entertainment. This partnership reinforces our commitment to creating the best TV experience. By leveraging our personalisation and discoverability features, we aim to connect Max’s incredible offering with the right audiences”.
