Scope

As the Key Account Manager for Ukraine and Moldova, you will take charge of building and strengthening relationships with key retailers. From product listing to promotion, you’ll manage the entire sales cycle, working closely with local distributors and marketing teams. The role also involves localizing marketing materials and executing promotions to drive sales and visibility for Philips products in the region.

You will be the sole representative of the sales team in Ukraine, responsible for establishing direct contracts with retailers, overcoming market challenges, and helping Philips grow its presence in a competitive environment. Together with a Consumer Care Specialist, you will be taking care of the UA market together.

This role is based in Kyiv, Ukraine. Our office is located in the Horizon Park Business Centrum, on the following address: вулиця Миколи Грінченка, 4, Київ, Україна.

Responsibility
  • Sales Management: Drive sales volumes, revenue, and profitability by working closely with key accounts. Propose and negotiate promotional activities, ensuring effective follow-up.
  • Relationship Building: Establish strong relationships with key retailers, and manage relationships with all our customers.
  • Sales & Market Strategy: Implement sales strategies, negotiate deals, and actively manage the end-to-end sales process, from listing to promotion.
  • Marketing Coordination: Localize marketing materials (e.g., e-stickers, e-banners) and ensure effective execution of campaigns to support sales objectives.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Analyse sales data, market trends, and competitor activity, reporting findings to help shape future strategies.
  • Training & Support: Collaborate with internal teams to provide training to retailers and update them on new product features.
  • Autonomy & Initiative: Work independently while staying connected with your manager and team, offering creative solutions and driving continuous improvements.

Education And Related Experience
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in sales within consumer electronics, with strong relationships in the retail sector.
  • Sales & Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate deals, drive sales, and manage key accounts.
  • Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the competitive landscape and the ability to navigate challenges like price dumping and limited market presence.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Ukrainian to communicate with customers in Ukraine, and advanced knowledge of English to communicate with customers in Moldova, your team and manager.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to track KPIs, analyse data, and adjust strategies to optimize results.
  • Creative & Solution-Oriented: A proactive problem-solver who can drive change and initiate improvements independently.
  • MS Office & Tools: Advanced knowledge of MS Office, with experience in using Excel for reporting.
  • Location: being located in Kiev, or close enough to commute to Kiev.
  • Driving Licence: Must have a valid driving licence for occasional local customer visits, when it is possible.
