Scope

This role sits in the Sustainability / ESG team and plays a pivotal part in reaching our ambitious sustainability goals. The Sustainability Specialist Human Rights & Supply Chain helps drive our sustainability efforts. Your expertise will help us meet the requirements of the CSDDD, while highlighting our commitment to sustainable business practices to all our stakeholders.

Responsibility

You will be responsible for the preparation of the gap assessment and the implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), and the ongoing process of:

  1. Integrating due diligence into policies and management systems
  2. Identifying and assessing adverse human rights and environmental impacts
  3. Preventing or minimising actual and potential adverse human rights, and environmental impacts
  4. Assessing the effectiveness of measures
  5. Communicating
  6. Providing remediation.

Education And Related Experience
  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field like Supply Chains, Sustainability and/or Human Rights
  • 5-10 years proven experience in Sustainability or Compliance functions
  • Knowledge of sustainability and compliance reporting standards, and reporting standards like EcoVadis and Ulula
  • Fluent in English. Chinese would be a 'nice to have'
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proven track record in independent project management (including budgets, timelines, deliverables and reporting)
  • Strong analytics skills and communication skills
  • Strong experience in internal and external stakeholder management
  • Ambition to grow sustainability skills and the drive to successfully manage multiple projects running at the same time
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, stakeholder management skills within and outside the company, and within multicultural diverse organizations
  • Ambitious, pro-active, high drive for getting-things-done
  • Able to work independently in dynamic fast changing business environment
