Scope | The Trade Compliance Manager within TPV will be a stand-alone position, which will give the opportunity to make an impact to the company. This role will have the responsibility to ensure that the TPV businesses are conducted in compliance with the various international export control laws and regulations, sanctions and customs regulations. Therefore, you will actively participate in developing the trade compliance program, strategies, policies and procedures, and provide trade compliance guidance and trainings to increase the compliance awareness within the organization. |
Responsibility |
- Tracking and monitoring of the U.S., UN, EU, UK and other international trade compliance regulations (if applicable) relevant to TPV;
- Assisting in interpreting and applying the export control laws and regulations at TPV – and when applicable, managing the implementation of those updates and changes with the TPV business;
- Performing customers (and suppliers) due diligence, and review the export/import transactions to ensure compliance with the applicable rules and regulations;
- Perform regular internal audits in relation to Trade Compliance;
- Providing regulatory and operational support and guidance on trade compliance, including the export control compliance matters to internal stakeholders;
- Development and management of trade compliance programs, including appropriate compliance manuals, Standard Operating Procedures, policies and procedures with regard to trade compliance;
- Developing and educating the internal clients on trade compliance best practices;
- Assist on ad-hoc projects in which a Trade Compliance expert is required;
- Assist (if needed) on all other legal affairs within the Legal Department (e.g. contracting, corporate etc.).

You will report to the General Counsel EU, Russia and US. This role will fall under the Legal department. |
Education And Related Experience | Education and related experience
- Educational background includes a minimum of Bachelor’s degree;
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in international trade compliance in an international environment;
- Strong knowledge of EU Dual Use regulations;
- Experience with ECCN and HS classification and export control licensing requests is mandatory;
- Excellent communication and effective interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work autonomously, self-motivated and results-driven;
- Fluent in English;
- Cultural awareness
